Good evening my fellow bloggers. Today is Sunday, and I don’t know about you, but on Sunday’s I like to relax and spend time with my friends, watch The Office, and eat pizza. I usually just take the lazy way out and buy frozen pizzas and make them that way. While I was in the store looking for a pizza I decided that I should try making my own, so I could either start doing it that way or just have a better appreciation for pizza chefs.
I ended up going with a Betty Crocker pizza dough because I buy so much of her baking stuff I thought that I should try her pizza dough. This was a really simple recipe as all I needed was hot water to add to the mix. I bought pizza sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese to add to the pizza.
Instead of making one pizza, I made two personal pan pizzas…I just wanted them to cook faster and be easier to handle. I know that sometimes it’s hard to get dough to cook thoroughly.
My review, along with three other friends, is that the pizza was pretty good. I made my friends try one slice each and two out of the three went back for seconds. I thought this was a fun thing to do and it felt nice knowing that I made the pizza. It’s a little more work than just throwing the frozen pizza in the oven, but the two ingredient dough prep makes it pretty simple.
All-in-all, I still don’t enjoy cooking, but I do enjoy the fact that this is easier than making a pizza like one from Italy. Next week I will try to make something healthier as the things I have been making are not that healthy, but what can I say, my diet isn’t that healthy.
